THAILAND - How to Get There and Where to Stay

Seems like every one and their pet poodle has been to Thailand - twice, or at least that’s what it felt like to me so I set my sights on visiting this incredible destination in 2017 to see what the fuss was about.  So using the combination of google flights and booking. com was able to get away at an incredible price for a week. What a mind-blowing feast of beauty this was.

Watch the video which I created nearly three years after featuring scenes shot in Bangkok, Phuket, the islands of Koh Phi Phi and surrounding areas of Krabi, Monkey beach etc. Then read the blog to find out how I flew to Thailand for £307 return from London and found amazingly good value accommodation.

Using The Lift for TV music

OD is currently writing new material of music for Film and TV synch for a UK synch publisher with strong Channel 4/5 and connections and is creating videos for those tracks as they are created. The first track "The Lift" features a lift down to the the beach on the South West coast of Isle of Wight.

On the most South Western tip of the Isle of Wight, UK lies the Needles and a chair lift down to the beach. I was amazed having lived on and off the island for 4 years that I never knew how breathtaking this ride was until I went at the weekend. Despite the almost overbearing wind and lack of a stabiliser I was able to get some footage I was happy with and decide to write an emotive piece of music to suit what I consider to be some epic views. Shot on a Panasonic GH4 Lumix running the new V Log-L, with Metabones Speedbooster Adapter, Sigma 14mm 2.8 and Samyang T1.5 Cinelens 85m . Some of the shots were done with a slider. ‘The Lift” Directed/ Edited and all musical instruments by OD Hunte www.odhunte.com www.twitter.com/ODHunte www.facebook.com/IAmODHunte www.facebook.com/ODHunteMusicProductions www.youtube.com/ODHunte www.Instagram.com/ODHunte
